For Clif Bar I created an animated intro for use during the 2nd Annual "Pisco Bloc" for which Clif was title sponsor. Pisco Bloc is a fairly new extension to the free climbing scene. The climbers either find cliffs over open ocean or build climbing walls over pools, in this case it was built. This intro played before broadcast of the event and was pushed throughout Facebook and Instagram days before the event.
For the animation we hand rotoscoped the key action. Each frame was printed out and then recreated on transparency with paint and brush. The artwork was then scanned back into the computer and composited with the backgrounds.
